This Petit Palais concept, full of contemporary art, opened its doors just 2 years ago. The Petit Palais is only for adults, guaranteeing peace and tranquility. Elements of traditional Mallorcan architecture are combined with touches of modernity, where the creative and inspiring hands of its owners, a couple from Barcelona, have left a mark that will impress visitors, clients and guests of the Petit Palais.
Mr. Picó, a businessman with several companies dedicated to architecture and corporate events, and the decorator and interior designer, are two people who are a pleasure to meet, full of charisma and enthusiasm for this new project in which both of them have invested the best of themselves.
The main part of the Petit Palais is laid out in three buildings, of traditional architectural style, which have been respectfully restored. They were acquired in January 2015. One of the buildings had been formerly owned by a Vicar, another by a bicycle repair shop and the other was a private house.
In October 2015 the construction began, a work full of challenges that has defined this fantastic complex, a haven of tranquillity and at the same time full of surprises and great details such as Nespresso machines in all the rooms, a selection of teas and kettles (on request), various Mallorcan and international snacks, Parlux professional hairdryers, Chopard scales and amenities.

These restaurants show two ways of interpreting 21st century cuisine. Tess de Mar, with a capacity for 40 people and its magnificent terrace, offers a selection of the best Mediterranean flavours, forgotten recipes from the past in its drawers and a fusion with contemporary trends resulting in an outstanding composition where the foundation is made up of local and seasonal products, which are transformed through our chef Juan M. Ocampo. A young and excellent team works with him, with members from diverse backgrounds, united by their love of cooking.
Kairiku, which in Japanese means “of the land and the sea”, is a unique concept that leaves no one who has lived the experience indifferent. Located in the old cellar of the main house, it a large table for up to 10 diners to enjoy the best Japanese cuisine led by our Itamae, who, with his know-how and experience, reinterprets Asian cuisine in an amazing way. The method he uses to cut the best fish is ideally blended to give rise to the notion of the “Omakase”; that is, trust the Chef, where he himself selects the best of the markets to offer his customers the highest quality in his tasting menu, infused with the most interesting sakes available.
On the other hand, the Petit Palais’s Es Vicari Cocktail Bar is led by our barman, José Cortés. He was born in Seville, where he took his first steps behind a bar. Curiosity and the desire to grow brought him to Mallorca, where he discovered the signature cocktail along with great professionals. After years of training and after having participated in several championships, it is at Sa Creu Nova where he can express all his creativity, at the only signature Cocktail Bar in Campos, Es Vicari, where they achieve a unique experience for the customers.
