Located in the beautiful town of Campos, in Mallorca’s Southeast, you will find Sa Creu Nova Art Hotel & Spa. This beautiful inland hotel is adults-only and offers you high attention and care of details, such as stunning art pieces, an exquisite furniture selection which was exclusively designed for the hotel, which has an important architectural value. Just like you would expect in this kind of venue, the hotel also has a very unique gastronomic concept offering their clients an exquisite taste of high-end cuisine.
Sa Creu Nova has two restaurants, Tess de Mar and Kairiku. Tess de Mar is a restaurant combining Mediterranean cuisine with local gastronomy, but today we would like to tell you all about Kairiku. This is a Japanese restaurant with an innovative and exclusive gastronomic concept, due to being the first “Omakase” on the island.
This concept is based on trusting the cook, as it means ‘I trust you’ and it works by visitors leaving the choice of dishes up to the chef. Kairiku is a place to enjoy incredible fusion flavors, textures and aromas combined perfectly by the talented chef behind Kairiku, César León. César carefully picks every fresh product on the local market and cooks a fixed menu every night, you will try spectacular dishes like tuna tataki with foie wasabi, fresh squid nigiri and original uramakis with fig jam and blue cheese.
All these spectacular dishes get paired with sakes, teas and Japanese cocktails. The setting for Kairiku is another of its upsides, as Kairiku is located in a very particular and original space, the former wine cellar of this Majorcan manor house. You will be able to share a long table for 10 pax and live a unique experience in which the creative cuisine by our chef plays the main role.
